Here's the Politics folder you've been asking for. Please try to keep it somewhat civil in here, eh? ;)

No way, the conservative media just refuses to report on how our quick reply didn't make it to the politics folder!

Yes, thanks so much. The quick reply being absent is probably better in this case. :)

At least in my case. It means I have to think a little more before replying.

Soooooo could've used this back before the last election when the boards felt like a fueding ground for the campaign instead of a video game boards.

Good show, HN, and I think we should bestow a thank-you on the poor mod who has to watch over this place

I think it's a bad idea.

Most political threads that cause problems are okay topics to begin with that degrade into a political mess due to ideological differences of the posters.

I don't get why "off topic" isn't good enough...

Just my two cents.

I'm all for upgrades to the forums, and appreciate the work the mods do, but I don't really think that this will have any sort of positive impact.

I think it'll be great if it's possible to actually adhere to the rules and making people who bring politics into every thread come here instead.

Okay, who wants to volunteer to moderate this folder for me??? I'm so going to have to keep reading every thread. Booo. ;)

Crazed. I don't envy the amount of work that went into it. No quick reply is sort've disheartening, however.

No quick reply on the PC is like....

Actually,

I kind of like the no quick reply, because I can preview my post prior to posting, thus allowing for editing and for re-reading which like counting to 10 before throwing out a knee-jerk response.

Edited: because I still had a typo with preview. :(
