View Full Version : The vacation is over!

I'm back at work today after my auto accident. Yeah, I didn't attention whore it all over here. Basically, I was trying to merge onto a rotary and some dickhead decided it would be funny to not break and park his car into my trunk. Fun stuff, no really, it was.

Anyway, after a week of sitting on my ass it was time to get back to my nice, comfy, secure state job. I'll tell you this, while I loved questing and all during my little vacation break.. I'm glad to be at work. I started feeling like such a waste.

Well, the main purpose of this is that it reminds me how I hate under qualified, overly stupid, rednecks in positions that should really be left to people with half a brain on their shoulders. The screaming.. the berating from the other section. I swear, if I had anyone tell me they're going to "Slap the shit out of me" at work, except in the military, I'd tell them to go fuck themselves... and hard.

Definately though, it's great to be at work. Plus, I'm just a mere 20 minute subway ride to all the neat little stores in Downtown Boston.

Cheers state job.. This one's for you.

Because that's so much better than telling them you're going to slap the shit out of them?

I do contracts for the Department of Public Health here. More or less I look them over and pass them up to a supervisor for final approval. Fun job (hah, easy as heck). Really took it for the experience as getting experience in contracts is one of the harder things to really get and doing it on the state level rocks.

I'd be, of course, more diplomatic Wezas, but I'd never tolerate anyone saying that to me.

Interestingly, I'm in my government contracts rotation right now.

Or maybe not so interestingly. I spent several hours today browsing facebook.

Appreciate all the good words, guys, really do.

Yeah, Edaarin, welcome to the Government world. Honestly, it's the reason I like state jobs.. I hate high paced, fast brisked work.. I also hate seeing a supervisor, which I never do in this job. I'm way too laid back during the day.

Anyway, this isn't the end of the line for me. I've yet to keep a job longer than a year and a half really and that's partially since I'm not like.. ready to die of old age (Hi, PB), so I'm gobbling the work experience up like a fat kid at a buffet table.

Anyway...FUCK YOU SOULPIECED I GET A ID CARD

I know how that goes. My current job is just for the experience as well. Lots of jobs are being created for environmental work so having a few years of experience by the time I graduate is gonna help. So far this summer today was the first day I had to do a full days worth of work. Only because the spreadsheet that they had me work on was needed for a client tomorrow. Generally I just sit around and post here and browse myspace.
