I don't see what is so hard to believe, single items sell in Gemstone for thousands, I sold an account with one of the best equipped rogues on that server, for a very fair price IMO too.

I do find it hard to believe but I also believe there are idiots with extra cash to spend on idiot purchases. It is extremely easy to reach 60 and obtain all the goodies on the way in a very short period of time in WoW.

Yes it was better equipped then that account. Most of my gear was obtained from molten core and onyxia, including 7 out of 8 pieces of nightslayer armor.

While leveling to 60 is easy, and obtaining some decent gear is easy, getting that many epics takes time.

Don't suppose you have a list of your epics? I have a rogue who's 59 and I need to start looking for some decent gear.

You won't find any good rogue epics outside of the 40 man raid instances.

Krol Blade and Myrmidon's Signet are really the only two that would serve a level 60 rogue pre MC/Onyxia/BWL.
