Ode to Trolls

To The Board Trolls (often known as The Attention Whores)

The board troll is a piteous beast.
It blathers most but says the least.
It's lacking brains, and worth, and wit.
There's nowhere that it seems to fit.

It wanders here and wanders there;
Alas, it has no thoughts to share.
Rejected, it just babbles on
Despite the cries of "Troll, begone!".

We each have seen one. Yes, it's true.
I've seen aplenty. So have you.
I wonder what will happen when
Their posts are answered ne'er again...

Will they crawl back beneath their bridge,
Or will they raid the neighbor's fridge
To soothe their souls with calories,
And bask in lonely memories?

I'll prob'ly never see that day
But, I can dream. What can I say?
I dream of times when trolls, ignored,
Leap from their bridges, 'cause they're bored.

He IS him and I think he likes it JUST fine. Get someone who's fluent in english to proofread what you are going to post before you post it so you don't end up looking like such a dork all the time.

I never got the digs on X's language abilities. I mean, here we are, always saying "Well, maybe English is his second language" when someone really screws the pooch in Gemstone or the official boards. Well, X knows multiple languages, but yet that's good enough. Double standard much?

Actually, it appears Xcalibur dabbles in several languages. While I can admire those who are multilingual, even if not fluent in any of them, I cannot hold that same admiration for those who correct others' use of a language not their own...and correct them wrongly. ;)

Yeah, that is pretty stupid. I speak two languages. Which is cool. X speaks more than two, or so he says, if that's true, that's even cooler. That's why I don't give him shit about his grasp on English.
