Dunno if this is latin, but can someone translate loco parentis for me, or direct me to a good translation site? Need this for a project for work.
Why can't military manuals be made in simpler language.....
loco = not of sound mind?
parentis = parents?
Just off the top of my head, no look ups.

Don't think that's it.
It's used in this context.
"A person standing in loco parentis to the decedent"

Thanks Nein!
Now I'm one step closer to getting this done and getting back into WoW.

Haven't you ever seen Scent of a Woman..?
Damn man, don’t you ever use Google?
Loco Parentis (http://www.bartleby.com/59/4/inlocoparent.html) is an idiom for taking the place of a parent.
So I was half right, though completely correct because you’d have to be crazy to assume that kind of responsibility voluntarily.
