What you describe doesn't sound right to me, either. If you were being harassed (and it sounds like you were, in both cases), it doesn't make much sense to brush you off like that. I thought WoW was supposed to have pretty good customer service, so I'm very curious as to what went awry here.

No problem. You're certainly free to vent here. I just wondered if anyone here was involved, since it's always helpful to hear both sides of any disagreement. It helps, sometimes, to clear up misunderstandings.

As in the first case, because I made no complaint whatsoever at the initial bout of my 'harrassment" it was their impression I did not feel harrassed until the warning was issued to my account, and they do not issue account warnings for revenge and I should consider this matter closed.

Sounds like they're looking at the second case a lot like Simu does. If you don't complain in the beginning, they take it to be consented CvC, rather than unwanted PvP. To be honest, I can understand that stance. You have the tools to let the GMs know if you're being harassed. It's up to you to use them. Otherwise, you run the risk of being misunderstood if the situation escalates.

As to the first situation, sounds like their rules on that one might need a bit of refining.

In my opinion you've not really even explained the situation well. Both factions are involved so getting a translation from anyone beyond a GM or someone on their side with fraps is problematic at best. There's something beyond just telling someone to fuck off in WSG.

2. There are jerks everywhere, in life, in games, etc. You control your game. The beauty of Warcraft is /ignore and leaving groups. You don't have to be around those people. I hate an uncountable amount of people on Argent Dawn, and it's really, really rare I ever run into them or hear from them.

But really, if you cannot control your reactions (Which I seldom do, when I go off... bad things happen) then maybe you shouldn't play.

I'm considering a change of venue for my gaming fun, as well. The only thing that keeps me here is that there are some folks that depend on me and some folks that make it worthwhile to stay. And the thought of being an utter noob at another game is a little daunting.

For some reason, certain individuals believe that anyone who doesn't care to be stabbed in the back by some ?? conned rogue mid hunt every 30 minutes MUST be a pansy bitch ass care bear mother fucker. I apologize for not sharing your fascination with ganking and being ganked, and apologize once more for not having the intellectual capacity of a 13 yr old who gets a stiffy every time he murders someone in an imaginary world.

You have just as much right to enjoy your style of play as I do to enjoy mine. Just like you have just as much right to declare my preferred style of play as pansy ass care bear while I call yours ignorant and immature.

That said, that is the true ideals behind creating seperate server styles. So that those who enjoy different styles of gameplay do not have conflicting interests in game.

I am well within my rights as a consumer to take offense to PvP server behavior on an RP server. You do not have to agree with that, but you can blow it out your ass if you don't.

The third realization is that I have placed too much emphasis into escaping reality again. I am not healthy psychologically due to traumatic events in the recent past , and suddenly see that I have once again immersed myself in an activity to distract myself from the real world. I will not be "quitting" world of warcraft, but I will be spending a lot less time playing it.

Sometimes when we feel as if we cannot control our own lives, we try our best to control the lives of those around us, or to escape into a world we CAN control. When that control begins slipping, it is a knee jerk reaction to get emotional and/or upset about it, which has resulted in this thread.

While Executer was being an asshole, theres nothing I can do to stop that.

While the situation with Kealin was blown out of proportion and twisted unjustly, there is still nothing I can do to undo that.

While strayrogue was being a bitch about how my play style MUST be inferior, he is entitled to his opinion and theres nothing I can do about that.

There will be assholes, there will be injustice, but in the end, the game is just the game.

To any who actually read this all the way through, I thank you for at least trying to take the time to understand me a little better, and apologize for being such a loud pain in the ass.

I will not subject any of you to my venting in the future and actually hope a moderator would be so kind as to delete this entire thread as it has run its course.
