Invisibility boots?

I have a set of boots I was sold about 3 years ago. They are black velvet (?) boots, I believe. I remember the seller, I don't know if I should mention his name on here, and he said they contained 5 charges of invisibility when rubbed. Is there any way I can find this out or does that sound like BS?

If they're not BS, how much would these be worth?
