View Full Version : OTF aquaduct hunting.
Where is the best (safest) place to rest after hunting the aquaduct?
It seems so nuts you have to run through the hardest critters to get to the ones beneath them, on the way in and out.
Ugh, I was looking at the wrong aquaducts I think. I didn't notice the ones at the NorthWestern section of the map.

Basically set a horde of gold rings to whichever one you want to hunt in. That way, you really don't have to walk through Ithzir every time you need to hunt.

The aqueduct in the NW corner is the lower level area. The other one is misleading, as it's ithzir and griffins, not the gremlocks and taints. If you use Tsoran's maps, the rooms shaded in black are safe, but I don't know which if any are nodes. You can use a gold ring to go from the aqueduct to the portal to get in and out. I just used to use a script and cross my fingers that nothing would swipe at me along the way.
Ya, I do the closing eyes and scripting a fast as possible thing.
I'm gonna miss the fear a new hunting area provides.

You still have to walk past the higher trained critters.

That and the aqueduct in the southeast corner is occupied by the higher level creatures. Just get a script and run through!

They don't tend to mull around the duct too much. Mostly beings, taints, and gremlocks in there.
But yeah it's fun and I can't wait for Anticor to go piking his way through there. 66k til I can get in the rift w00t w00t.

I think my main char would be capped if I hadn't taken that two year break that I did. She's STILL never seen the rift.

Why is everyone so old? I think all of you fine people need to roll up a new character. Enjoy the Sprite quests, run messages. Do some guild work.
Experience the game from the view of a stary-eyed newbie.
25k until 73... for the rogue.
100 for the empath...
57, 41, 29 for the wizard, sorcerer, and cleric respectively...
Last thing I need is another newbie on my roster.

I have just 1. One sorcerer. It has been my dream to walk the streets of Old Ta'Faendryl since the moment I learned of its existence.
It is so close, I can almost taste it.

Ive had too many characters... :|
I have one character.
I tried to have 2, but it freaked me out trying to split my time between them.
In the end I gave the Ranger away.
I think concentrating on one character makes it more personal to me.
Hey Fallen, I thought Dighn was yours too?

I gave Dighn away over a year ago to a player I thought I could trust. The character has since been sold multiple times.
I will eventually buy that eye-sore, and put him to rest. He represents my greatest failures in GS..a bit painful to see him getting killed all the time.
Damn.
Sorry to hear that man.

I've never seen any Ithzir past the arch.
