My favourite moments for Shimmerain were him murdering 2 animal companions and leaving their owners alive.

Having amazing sex infront of Mularos' altar.

My proudest moment with Chica was beating Gemstone, obviously. I think being the first capped halfling empath is kinda cool. ;)

Killing a member of the obsidian legion was pretty hot too.

1. Killing off an entire family of people that were 30+ trains then her for betraying her when she was only train 21.

2. For finally killing the Poohbah after her so many deaths made by him.

3. Finding her partner in crime.

1. When she finally stood up for herself and told the vultures of the Landing what she really thought of them. That was a fun night.

So many:

-Marrying Kjata. Marriage may not seem like a proudest thing or unusual thing to anyone, but there is a facet of a seven year struggle to be together between those two characters. It was just never the right place or time, then finally, it was the perfect place and time.

They married in a ceremony with one cleric and witness at the shrine of dreams -- a place endeared to my character since her youth. Very private. Very personal.

-The Vrael witch saga. I loved that quest. Near it's end, Kiera asked a merchant to please take a dedication to her love in case anything should happen to her (at the time, she couldn't read or write). Merchant did it, and I recieved an RP award, but more importantly, the message was delivered. That was awesome.

-Kiera's struggle to learn to read and write from her primary, and her victory over her illiteracy.

-Being accepted into ALAE.
-Being asked to review/inspect the quality of other work in ALAE.

-Being one of the most experienced female warriors still left in the lands.

Hmm..this is kind of a hard one actually. My character right now is in the middle of a very strange and trying time in her life with the Reiver quest and i have a feeling there will end up being a 'proud of Jolena' moment at the end of this one too.

So far though...

1) Finally finding her courage to ask for more for herself then for others. Jolena's a very self-sacrificing type of character and has always given to others before even considering herself.

IE. Among a few other things, she stood up to some folks from ATK when she was a commander there even though it broke her heart and partially her spirit to do so. She deserved more though and had enough of it.

2) Standing in front of a massive mob of angry folks in the Landing who were attempting to stone someone in stocks. She moved in front of the stocks, put out her shield and took the insults and thrown objects instead, all the while holding her head high. Made me grin from ear to ear to be honest.

3) Having the courage to ask Stunseed to marry her even though she was deathly afraid to get into marriage. Jolena has a long history of failed relationships, including losing her very first true love, and it was extremely hard on her. Jolena even got down on one knee and gave Stunseed a ring :)

4) Having the courage to stand up to her adoptive father and disown him from her life while still keeping her sisters and other relatives close to her heart in the process.

5) Hunting without any spells or anything else in an area 20 trains above her level simply to prove to herself and another individual that she didn't need anyone else's help.

6) Financing and depending on herself only from train 18-30 in Icemule when she disowned her father and moved away to be on her own. She ended up earning all her own money, purchasing and furnishing her own home and buying all her own gear and clothing without a single dime being given to her from anyone else.

This is a part of me that bleeds into my characters. I won't let anyone pay for anything for them. They all make their own way. It's not something I'm particularly proud of, however, because it shows a distinct inability for me to separate that part of myself. Someday I'll have to roll up the classic elanthian sorceress who dupes men out of silvers and gear. Til then, there's always ambushing :P

Amerith, the Bunny Queen's proudest moment was when "bunnies" invaded Tamma and Elbrok's wedding, proving to all her bunnies were really real.

Another proud moment was the first time she enchanted anything... and each successive enchant higher she has done... such as the first time she made 6x. :cool:

Definately making lord.

Being taught by the GM's how to fletch before anyone else in prime(with the exception of dragolyn and ferdirand who were also present).

Being one of the few archers pre-fletching.

Being one of the few rangers.

Finally being able to hunt teras.

Finding the Nations for the first time shortly after release.(I loved the original months of Ta'Vaalor, great people stayed there)

Making legend was fun but not really one of my highlights, by that time the game had lost alot of its appeal.

1. Hunting my way up the mountain in IceMule. It meant alot to me for my character to be so into the community.

2. The moment when people realized Stun wasn't going to be pushed over. To walk around and not have people mess with the character is a pretty important moment.

3. Having other Rangers blink and marvel at Stun's physical prowess.

4. My animal companion rawks.

5. Creating an item that will live on past my time in Elanthia.

I guess my proudest moments that I can share...is when I was able to purchase a forehead gem on my own. It was a lot of silver and I finally felt like I had mastered a bit of the money thing when I was able to say, "Yes, I'll pay for it all now." It's such a great feeling to be able to get what you want.

And then character wise when Uniana killed Railien. It seems really small but ignoring the multiple levels he has over her he also had a mental thing over her. So just ripping into him was so enthralling.

Oh, and he had it comin'.

It wasn't only the battle that was so great, it was more of how everything lead up to it. Not sure if you knew how all the fighting lead up to everything, but here's the deal that made it so awesome.

It was right after that war with Ariond's guild and Arkans was feeling more and more expansionist and warlike. Was great, so naturally, we needed another war. We needed a reason, so we decided that Darnell and Padun (Darkhaven) would lead a mock rebellion against the Black Fist.

Anyway, all worked out well and the Temple Knights along with Luna (Ariond's guild) allied with the "Rebels". It was all that Arkans needed to declare full out war.

So, as it went, Darnell managed to rally a gaggle fuck of extra people to help out the Black Fist. Man, I wish I could have been part of the first wave to see the look on everyone's face when the "Rebels" completely turned on their "Allies" and what began the largest PvP battle in Gemstone history. Three hours until the Black Fist finally came out on top. We even got payed "reparations" for "war damages". It was really a fun time.

With Ti it was mastering Voln. She was a quickgen empath, so you can just imagine how dreadful her stats and stat placement was. To hunt at all was quite a feat, to actually Master was the feat of feats.

With Beau it was her whole relationship with and marriage to Aallaan. I've never had an ingame relationship to rival that of those two characters, and the RL friendship that grew between me and his player is something that both of us cherish.

I had a wizard named Scooter who hunted using haste and Voln Fu and dressed in a rainbow of colors and tons of beads, feathers, bells, bangles, and frou frou. When I learned how to cast pink disks for her I was in heaven.

As far as me the player was concerned, I'm glad I quit before playing got to be completely impossible. I just wish I'd done so before the arthritis forced my once bubbly group of characters to become silent and withdrawn. I hated people finding me cold and unfriendly when the truth was it really hurt to type, and was impossible to type fast.

With Ilvane it was when she got her former star tattoo changed by Ronan into a comet. This was a really neat thing for her, seeing as the person with me(Arimantis) could see the star shining on my neck. When I went to the temple it sparkled more, and the walls of the temple where Ronan is also lit up with stars and comets. Then I felt tingling on my neck, and my tattoo had been changed: The tiny comet is outlined with a deep, midnight blue line, and small specks trail off the end of it like a tail. Inked in the center is a stylized silver eye.

Ilvane being a dreamer of Ronan's, that meant a lot to me as a player.

It's a shame that things aren't the same as they were even a couple years back. I don't have nearly as many people to RP with even with new characters. Back then there were people at every turn to interact with.

It was part of a RP player-run storyline involving Valicar and V'tullians. In order to free Valicar from V'tull's grip, we had to go to the temple unarmed and without our armor and pray for his release. Only our faith would accomplish what we wanted. We pretty much knew it would be a wholesale slaughter that night hehe. It was great fun being involved in the story however.

My first character to make Great Lady (and she was once my baby character, now she's my main).

Getting my animal companion was pretty cool. Then when I got to have him altered, that was also good.

I didn't care much for titling because I wanted to get to 30 for Showal's companion. I had kind of given up thinking the closest I could get to a rat for Showal was a ferret, but Aetheri told him he could get a rat and told him how.

The other was Showal adopting his IG mom. He's very convincing.

Wanted to add getting a RPA for interacting with the ferret in Ta'Vaalor. Apparently partway through a GM started to control the ferret and somewhere in the fun he nudged a yellow scarf towards elrodin which I kept for a few years. It is still in his locker.

A GM once helped me and Kazami play a trick on Caladari. We got RPAs for it, it was really funny.

I'd have to say the RPAs I've gotten have been proud moments, but kinda like soenchanting, I can't really tell the people at work or my girlfriend. They wouldn't "get" it.
