Well, its no big hoorah. Its a small step. Thats alright.

I’m divided right now on nuclear. Ok, cheap, efficient energy. Really really bad waste. I’m not even sure that even if we launched that waste into outer space it wouldn’t have an impact on something somewhere. I’m all for getting the oil monkey off our backs... but you have to weigh the costs.

Mean while Brazil (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2002339093_brazilfuel17.html) uses 25-100% ethanol at half the cost of gasoline.

I'm for greater nuclear energy.

I'm for alot more research into renewable eco friendly energy sources also, but I feel nuclear energy will have to be the thing that helps get us over the hump before we are able to toss off the yoke of foriegn oil.

Thats a good step if the tax breaks help nuclear plants and protecting the last bit of ANWR still protected is a Good Thing(TM).

I thought ethanol added to gasoline wasn't really a help. It takes more energy to produce ethanol than the ethanol provides.
