So, scientists have figured out how to bring dead things back to life.
By replacing blood with saline, pumping in fresh blood a few hours later, and applying an electric shock, the dogs (which are clinically dead; no heart activity, no brain activity, etc,) come back to life with no brain damage whatsoever.
I don't know if it's true, or a hoax, or whatever, but it has some neat ramifications for many type of injuries that would normally result in death.
