A sea nymph just arrived.
>stance offensive
>attack
You are now in an offensive stance.
You swing a claidhmore at a sea nymph!
AS: +56 vs DS: +10 with AvD: +31 + d100 roll: +87 = +164
... and hit for 80 points of damage!
Shield arm removed at the shoulder!
The sea nymph falls to the ground and dies.
Roundtime: 5 sec.
Llumia searches a sea nymph.
Llumia gathers the remaining coins.
A sea nymph decays into compost.
Llumia removes a wooden arrow from in her belt quiver.
>loot
>stow left
Could not find a valid target to loot.
You are not holding anything in your left hand.
>frow llu
You frown at Llumia.
>stance defensive
You are now in a defensive stance.
Llumia asks, "?"
>'thats my critter to search
You say, "Thats my critter to search."
Llumia says, "I just killed it..."
>'didja now?
You ask, "Didja now?"
Llumia asks, "Um, yeah?"
>'you blind?
You ask, "You blind?"
Llumia asks, "Are you?"
>tar llu
You are now targetting Llumia.
>stance offensive
You are now in an offensive stance.
>attack
You swing a claidhmore at Llumia!
AS: +56 vs DS: +15 with AvD: +32 + d100 roll: +7 = +80
A clean miss.
Roundtime: 5 sec.
>attack
You swing a claidhmore at Llumia!
AS: +56 vs DS: +15 with AvD: +32 + d100 roll: +85 = +158
... and hit for 48 points of damage!
Crushing blow to head closes that eye for good.
She is stunned!
Roundtime: 5 sec.
>stance defensive
You are now in a defensive stance.
>'now please look again
You say, "Now please look again."
>l llu
You see Llumia the Ranger.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Lassaran D'ahranal.
She appears to be very young and taller than average. She has almond-shaped green eyes and ivory skin. She has long, wavy auburn hair. She has a delicate face, a straight nose and slightly pointed ears.
She has a blinded left eye.
She has several painful-looking scars across her chest, several painful-looking scars across her back, and old battle scars on her left hand.
She is holding a wooden arrow in her right hand and a poorly shaped yew composite bow in her left hand.
She is wearing an agate-inset copper earcuff, a snow white cotton snood, a bone-inlaid pewter necklace, a belt quiver, some fitted green suede leggings, a pair of ivory leather boots, a variegated ivory linen backpack, a pale green suede pouch, a crystal amulet, an elegant ora-clasped cloak trimmed with finely interwoven gold and silver embroidery, a delicate silver knot ring, a polished ironwood buckle painted with a golden leaf, a heart-cut dragonfire opal pendant, and some dark gold-trimmed leathers.

Oh yeah, the shot to the head and blinded eye was coincidental poetic justice.
Killing nymphs with a claid really turned me on, for some reason.

Fuck, and people said I had an itchy trigger finger.
First time is good for a warning. She probably thought she had killed it.
Way to be an asshole to a potentially new player. Guess what? Sea Nymphs sure as hell aren't rich enough for someone to lie about thinking they killed it. Go sit in the Park and swing at someone who will kill you in an instant before coming here to gloat about what you did.

What was trolling about it?
I agree with everything that was said.

Yea... that's pretty stupid. Who the fuck cares if she searched your nymph that may possibly have had 50 coins and a red jasper on it.

I've come to the conclusion that you have no clue at all what you're talking about in the majority of your posts.
Do you even know what a troll is?

I've been convinced for quite some time that he simply looks at all the smilies, then decides on what smilie to use, and structures his response around it. That's just my personal theory...

She's not new. Look at her inventory, definitely an alt, if she isn't too old to be hunting there anyway.

All your jaspers are mine Antipanties...
For a first time offense it may have been a little harsh. I accidently have searched kills before as part of my macros... I have also given back the items to the person and apologized... (depending on the char I am playing)

This was a completely retarded post. I was referred to it and thought it sounded like a funny thing to read, but sadly, I was wrong. I think we should all go cliffing. This month's target is 2hander users.

Wtf is cliffing.
What's with all the crazy talk on the boards this morning?

I think cliffing = jumping off cliffs....for fun.
Thanks to those who defended me against the dimwit who thinks that a new poster + strong opinion = troll.
I can safely say for most people who I have talked with, PvP is not fun for people who play this game, especially in the situation he talked about. All you have to do is look at her DS (15!), the creature in question (a nymph), and the reason (searched his kill, but didn't even seem to notice it was his), and anyone would be in fury if they put themselves in that situation.

Oh please, he didn't even kill her.
. All you have to do is look at her DS (15!), the creature in question (a nymph)
Look at her inventory. Not new character/player. Also, it's possible to scroll up. Might've only had to press page up a whole three times to see that it was his kill and not hers.
It's not strong opinions that make a troll, it's unreasonable opinions expressed in a way which inspires other strong responses.

Actually, it was more because you bumped the thread some 9 days later with a post that resembles a flame.
If it was same day or within 3 days, I wouldn't have said anything. But 9 days?
Whatever....

Slightly over a week, he was on topic and had more to say than a one liner insult that most "trolls" do. Had he posted in several "old" threads, I could understand the need to out the guy, but I think you were a bit hasty to use the troll smilie. I feel you jumped the gun on this one.

I consider it poor RP to suggest you've killed a critter when its obvious you have not. If you can't even double check what you think happened then you deserve a stun or worse. I bet the player of this character will be more mindful of whats going on in the future, or not, in no case do I care.
It wasn't about loot at any rate, it was the principle, I was just on the cliffs for some robes.

Stupid argument. Not everyone gets to read the messages on the boards the day they are posted. What they have to say is no less interesting or relevant one day later or one year later, provided the content is sound.
I wouldnt use the time lapsed to determine the trollness of the post...read what it says.

And your post there was stupider than your behaviour in the log.
Please dont try and pass your actions off as roleplay. It was you being a moron during a time when you were being a moron (if I remember correctly, you posted two or three examples at the time you posted this) and killing something for very little reason other than you wanting to kill someone.
Yeah you are so grand...you killed a nub over some white robes. woohoo. What a star.

It looks like her bow script misfired and she thought she attacked the nymph.

Actually... Were there 2 nymphs in the room when Fengus attacked? Because last I remember you don't automatically swing at something with an open attack command. I could be wrong though, it's been a couple years.
Regardless, attacking someone (twice) for searching one of your kills is pretty lame.

In my early briar patch days I killed more players than when Morvule first showed up and inspired a bunch of Luukosian followers to assist the invaders. It's the same as stealing when you're RPing. I kill for stealing and always will.. if my needles don't get you anyway.
In a room with a dead kobold... someone walks in, searches, and takes the box. I chase and murder since I don't train in pickpocketing. That scenario has played over and over countless times.

I'll pretend to understand what you are saying and respond thusly: There was one nymph. I hit her only once, *not* killing her. The last part was for others here that can't tell the difference.

I'm not passing it off as RP, it is RP. Continuing the discussion with that moron was breaking my immersion. I guess you may have said something like: "Read your monitor again plz, kthx." But I wouldn't.
IIRC the other posts were a continuation of that day, a GM showing up to talk about this incident and some other stuff that is unrelated. I got fed up with the silliness and just deleted the extra character and got my $2.50 refunded. GS is a pile of idiots, mostly.

People have killed people in GS for much less. Wasn't it Bleeds who used to kill people for touching his character?
Personally, I don't care either way. With a player like that though, (gear etc), don't be surprised/get upset when you're in a fight with some high level lady who provokes you then proceeds to slaughter you repeatedly. Not everyone claims to RP in GS, and if you respond to the fight, it then becomes consentual.

Well pulling in another higher level character is a bit lame, but I've done it in response to non-roleplayed violence. But tit for tat if someone were to do it against me.
