On Friday, September 26, Modus Operandi, Alliance of Heroes and CyberStrike 2 will all again be unavailable briefly while we update a related server followed by all the GemStone games and then all the DragonRealms games. We will start Friday's maintenance at 8:30 AM Eastern time and we plan on being finished by 1 PM Eastern time. Each of the games will be unavailable during part of this time, but not the entire time.

There will be further maintenance of the login server, web server, forums, etc. We will identify the times of these later when we know how well the first set has gone.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but unfortunately these changes are required to continue bringing you the outstanding games that you have come to enjoy.

edit: They're getting rid of Alternet, which caused tons of lag for lots of people on the midwest/west coast, so it might be worth it for those of you who occasionally experience horrible lag.

Yeah. I think everyone needs to make alternate plans until this evening. The game is most likely down for the day.

I've seen a 1 hour maintenance outage last for 4 hours before. So I'm not expecting it up anytime before 6pm.

I can, but it's obscenely slow, I entered in the quit command about 4 minutes ago and the window is still open. And it figures that as I'm typing this, it closes. Also, Anticor likes it when you send him U2U's reminding him of his proud Gemstone lineage.

I logged in and did a quick spellup and things are REALLY snappy for me (i'm in the Midwest).... no more of the silly "You cannot type ahead more than one line" that I have been getting.
