Ok, its a Sunday bad movie day.

Its started off with Head of State with Chris Rock. I laughed my ass off. It was stupid, but damn it made me laugh.

I own Undercover Brother and watch it every once in a while. Really stupid, but I just can’t help myself.

Watching the Coneheads right now. Heh.

Undercover Brother is not a bad movie. If Dave C would have had more lines it would have been the best movie of the year

It's really too bad that Arnold is past his prime. I doubt there will ever be an action star as good as him. He really made movies great.

I agree. But then the time has sort of passed when heroes like him were sort of needed. Theres a lot of documentation on why Arnie might have been successful, but I think you're right when you said he just made good films. Taking the odd blunder into consideration, his portfolio of work is pretty good compared to "good" actors.

Anyway, theres rumours he may reprise the role fo King Conan.

06-26-2005, 04:52 PM
Even with politics on his plate? It would be great if it was the case though, I miss going to the movie theaters for a good Swartzenegger film. Awesome movies.

I personally don't think the time has passed for a hero like him. I just think we havn't had any. Everyone likes heroics and everyone likes a person they can look up to and overcoming troubles for a good cause. Either way, here's hoping he does another movie.

They said the same thing in the 70's: "The time when peopleneed a John Wayne has passed." Then Arnold came around in the 80's. The same thing will happen sooner or later, it's just cyclical.

Technically correct. But to quote IMDB:

Trivia: Arnold Schwarzenegger was originally to have reprised the role of Conan in this film, as the Red Sonja character was a spinoff of the original Conan novels. Ultimately, a new character was created who was essentially Conan in everything but name.

Someone on IMDB needs to do their research. Primarily they changed it because Kalidor(Arnie) in RS is nothing like Conan. Plus RS was based alot later in time than Conan (there existed primitive muskets in the comics for example).
