Why is it the ONE time I get a group of friends together and we decide to go to a ballgame (I got 8 great seats for free through our company) only to hear on the news today it's Gay Pride day.

I have had fun with it this morning.. calling everyone to tell them if they wear bright colors on their very tight tee-shirts, they might get free beer.

Hmm I wonder why the company would give PB free tickets to on that particular day..... They know something!

I went to Kings Dominion (local amusement park) on Gay Pride Day. I had no idea.

I also had no idea that evidently wearing a red shirt on those days means you're gay and proud. My girlfriend at the time found it very amusing.

LOL.. I actually had to ask for them. If you knew my company, you would know they NEVER "OFFER" anything.

Fitting since they play a queer brand of ball down there at Tropicana Field.

If by probably you meant might be.. then maybe.

Since I am not, your "probably" theory has just been wtfpwnificated.

I used to laugh my ass off in college when I would find on a random day that its Gay something or other day and by wearing blue jeans, white, green or something else incredibly common I was showing support.

It was done while I was in college. I received rather clever answer when I asked one of the organizers why they chose such common types of clothing or colors. It was to get a feel of who cared enough to dress in a manner they normally didn't. It could be something positive like the stuffy prof who wore a dress slacks and a bow tie surprising everyone attending a lecture by wearing jeans, or it could be the opposite ... people wearing materials and colors they wouldn't be caught dead in instead of wearing their normal attire of jeans or the "indicative" color of the day.

Mostly it was to show the anti-gay Christian right that most people didn’t care one way or another if there were gays among them.
