Tim Shaw has gotten in trouble again and this time it counts.
In February, as previously reported in Out There, the obnoxious British shock jock was suspended "indefinitely" from his radio DJ job for the on-air trashing of his boss' house.
Last Thursday night, he was doing his usual 10 p.m.-to-1 a.m. shift at Birmingham-based Kerrang! 105.2 FM here's his bio page when he told pin-up girl Jodie Marsh (search) on air that he'd be willing to leave his wife and two kids for her.
Unfortunately, his long-suffering wife was listening and quickly put up his Lotus Esprit Turbo sports car for sale on eBay.
"I need to get rid of this car immediately ideally in the next 2-3 hours before my cheating [jerk] husband gets home to find it gone and all his belongings in the street," Hayley Shaw wrote on the eBay description page, which as of Wednesday afternoon was still up.
"I am the registered owner and I have the log book. Please only buy if you can pick up tonight," she added.
The auction lasted exactly five minutes and three seconds. The car, estimated to be worth $45,000, sold for 50 pence (90 cents) and was soon driven away by a buyer who wishes to remain anonymous.
"I am sick of him disrespecting this family for the sake of his act," Hayley Shaw told a Birmingham newspaper. "The car is his pride and joy, but the idiot put my name on the log book [registration], so I just sold it. I didn't care about the money. I just wanted to get him back."
Last July, according to The Independent of London, Shaw upset his then-pregnant wife by saying on-air that he fantasized about sex with her sister. When she tearfully called to complain, he put her on air as well.
A month later, he nearly choked to death when a sausage he was simulating a sex act on broke in half.
A Kerrang! 105.2 spokesman said Tuesday that Shaw had taken a few days off to try to patch things up with his wife, who told newspapers "there is no hope for a reconciliation."
I wish there was an angry wife in New England selling her husband's Lincoln Navigator or something for a buck. No such luck here! :D

Ish. Why am I never aware when the really good things are going for a song? I'd have flown to England and shipped the bloody thing back! :D

LOL, they think the Kerrang is a newspaper.
A lotus for 90 cents.
CHA CHING!
Kudos for the wife, I hope she frames the money as a trophy.

 His bio page is cracking me up. I don't blame the wife for what she did.
All about Tim
Fired from pretty much every job hes ever had, Tim Shaw surprised everyone in the industry when he got the job of Asylum host on Kerrang! 105.2
The show, described by Tim himself, turning yourself inside out through your own gammon washer.
So far he's forced pepper into his eyes, electrocuted his 'Captain Winky', slammed himself against a brick wall, eaten sick, flown above the streets or birmingham with 1000 heliun filled condoms, sprayed people with gypsy and breast milk from the roof of Kerrang, snipped a spare nipple off live on air, bobbed for apples in Juicy Lucys widdle.
describing himself in three words - nature, freak, of
Some say bribes were involved, others speculate that blackmailing photos of the main hirers ensured he got the top spot. Whatever it was, its too late to stop him now - the beast has been unleashed!

Publicity sure, but he's jobless. His radio station will get the positive results of her actions, not him.

This reminds me of Howard Stern being a jackass. Or Howell Mandel too for that mattter.

Howie Mandell the comedian? Really? No idea. I remember seeing a recent skit of his and he was happy about his 20+ years of marriage. Heh.

He would most likely get half of 90 cents. He is intitled to half the money she sold it for. I think he deserved what he gets! Good for her!

I was refering to him being a comedian who is basically a jackass.
I'd be tempted to cave his face in with my fist if he tries to pull one of those stunts he usually do with me... but I'm concerned about possible assault charges.
Maybe I can play it off as my expression of "free speech" in response to his.

What stunts? The ones he performs on the people in his audiences? What he does to his audience is nothing new, so if you're not into that, don't go to his shows. That's like getting upset for getting fruit on you when you go see Gallagher. Well what did you expect? ;)

A man gets his just desserts.... all is right in the world? Family should always be off limits for shock jocks... and fantasizing about his sister... GROOOOSSSS!:nutty:

I think this might be one of the only instances where I actually thought to myself, "Gee.. I wish I lived in England... I might have been able to get that car!"

He shows some of his skits on Jay Leno.
I don't find that what he does to be particularly funny. But I guess some people get their rocks off by humiliating others.

It said he fantasized about her sister ... which is probably not all that uncommon but you just don't announce it on radio.
Shock jocks. All I can say is ugh.

P. S. I think it was on Tough Crowd that Howie Mandell was talking about how obsessive/compulsive he is. Like to the point of taking some kind of special light to inspect hotel rooms he stays in for certain germs. I don't mean to go off topic but just wanted to add that.
P. P. S. I want a .90 car!

Ya..but..but..I wanted to go watch him do it to other people, not me. It's not funny when it happens to me.

You people are broken.
What he did didn't even come close to warranting what she did. If she was so pissed off about a few words that were said for the enjoyment of his listeners she simply should have filed for divorce. That car and pretty much everything else he owns would have been hers through legal means.
Don't even get me started on that one either.

He wound her up with his past antics, she just snapped. She obviously didn't care about the car and wanted to get rid of it.
Personally, I'm not the type to freak out and destroy or give away property because I'm angry with someone, I just leave. I'm sure she will finally give in and leave him, but I understood her reaction. Not saying it's right, just understandable.
I'm just jealous that it didn't happen in NEW England. :D

He disrespected and humiliated his wife, the mother of his children, in front of the world.
He deserved to have her do a bobbit on him, only toss it in the blender and hit 'puree'.
The asshole got off easy.

Interesting thought, physical violence against a human being is justified by disrespect. I think a lot of wife-beaters would agree with you.
As for selling the car. Pissing away family assets to "get even" is not terribly bright. As has been said, she probably would have got the thing in the divorce and been able to sell it for a lot of money. See Covey, and the lose-lose mentality.

Oh, I'd never actually DO it. Very nonviolent babe here. But that's pretty much what he deserved. The way he treated his wife amounted to emotional battery, which can be as devestating as physical abuse. Looking back over my life, the emotional cuts people have inflicted on me have left far deeper scars than the physical ones.
As far as divorcing him and getting the car in the divorce vs selling it on ebay... Sometimes the gesture is worth the price, and the grander the price the more sweeping the gesture.
I bet, as far as she was concerned, it felt absolutely great. Obviously they could afford it financially. Yeah, worth every penny.
Also, if the gesture actually reaches this guy and makes him take his wife and her emotional needs and the pain he inflicts on her seriously it's a bargain at twice the price.

Everyone assumes this chick has no means to take care of herself. If he was my ex, I wouldn't give a damn. Women =/= helpless dependent creatures unable to fend for themselves. I applaud what she did.

Mornings like this one, I'd have to agree.
Fucking arthritis!
Nobody better offend me near a blender today if they want to keep their doings intact. (Of course they'd have to just sit there while I hobbled to the blender, fumbled with the buttons, and I'd probably have to ask them to cut their own hooter off and throw it in the blender for me.) Fucking, fucking, bloody damned arthritis!
