Great episode the other day. The battle at Little Bighorn and "Custers last stand".
The battlefield itself is quite impressive if you have never seen it. All the bodies were buried where they were found and makes for an interesting cemetary of sorts. What they did was to metal detect the entire area and use the spent metal catridges and bullets dug from the dirt to recreate the battle. They also used the same technology that say law enforcement uses to match rounds and casings and can trace the use a particular rifle across the battlefield.
