Reminds me of my bumper sticker "My karma ran over your dogma!"
"Feminism is the radical idea that women are people too!"

Let me explain to you the kind of man Gary is. He's a man who knows that when you put another man's cock in your mouth, you make a pact. A bond that cannot be broken. He's a man so dedicated that he will get down on his knees and put that cock right in his mouth.

Heh. I once created a little cartoon in Paint that showed a "Karma running over a dogma" for my work computer. Took it off, sadly, when the organization decided to get tough on the employees using the computers for anything personal. Didn't seem fair for me to do so after that. :(

And, on a serious note, my all-time favorite...
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

I've posted it here before, but it fits this topic as well and is something i read almost every day as it hangs in the entrance foyer.
Desiderata by Max Ehrmann
I won't post the whole thing, but the last two sections and have highlighted the sentance or two that helps me the most every time I read it.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

And if rain brings winds of change
Let it rain on us forever.
I have no doubt from what I've seen
That I have never wanted more.
With this line I'll mark the past
As a symbol of beginning.
I have no doubt from what I've seen
That I have never wanted more.
In this picture stands a man,
Far away, alone and distant.
Like a solitary field
In some nameless foreign land.
All around him points of light
Start to dim and cease transmitting.
Shadows fell on futile games
And then there was nothing more.

I have no predjucis. I hate everyone equally
Just because I'm a genius doesn't mean I'm required to have a lot of common sense. Or any, for that matter
Never take life seriously. No one gets out alive, anyway
Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die
How little do they see what is, who frame hasty judgements upon that which seems
We are not retreating...we are advicing in another direction
Never feel self-pity, the most destructive emotion there is. How awful to be caught up in the terrible squirrel cage of self
For Sale: Parachute. Only used once, never opened, small stain

Ladies and gentlemen:
Wear sunscreen. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.
Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Oh, never mind. You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they've faded. But trust me, in 20 years, you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked.
Don't worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4 p.m. on some idle Tuesday.
Do one thing every day that scares you...
BTW for those of you that didn't know Kurt Vonnegut never gave this speech... here's the real info http://home.iprimus.com.au/siegloff/clark/flotsam/communication/vonnegut_speech.html

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, cheeseburger in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a fucking ride!"
This is from a movie so I'm not gonna stick it on the TV one...
All you motherfuckers are gonna pay, You are the ones who are the ball-lickers. We're gonna fuck your mothers while you watch and cry like little bitches. Once we get to Hollywood and find those Miramax fucks who are making that movie, we're gonna make 'em eat our shit, then shit out our shit, then eat their shit which is made up of our shit that we made 'em eat. Then you're all fucking next.

"the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with yourself."
I heard it in a song a long time ago.
but, it's been my favorite quote since then.
:punch: 100 posts! haha
The changes in our life must not come from a mental resolution to try a new form of life but from the impossibility to live otherwise than according to the demands of our conscience.
