The sad thing about this is that he's only one who got caught, and was stupid enough to keep records. The top headline in our newspaper today was some freak getting busted for dealing kiddie porn, and it's not like we live in a big city, either.

If you want something else disturbing, pull a list of registered sex offenders in your area, see how many there are, and then think how many more will never be caught and put on a list like that.

I bet you 10 to 1 he is assigned to a prison with the same classification that other molesters have been housed (by the state's prison inmate classification system). So the taxpayers will foot the bill for the trial/conviction, then pay roughly 25 to 30k a year to house, feed, and treat this scum. All the while he will be surrounded by other sex offenders who have been sorted by the same classification.

There are times when a 30 cent bullet between the eyes would just work wonders for ridding society of these parasites.

The sad part is that there is no "fix" or "cure" for this type of sociopathy(pedophelia), especially on this grande a scale. The amount of children and their families lives that are ruined by maggots like this is sickening. Jail time is seriously a waste albeit a necessary one. I do think castration should be more readily used.

36,000 names / 30 years = 1200 children per year.

1200 children per year / 365 days in a year = 3.28 children per day.

This guy has been molesting an average of three kids a day for thirty years?

Even if they castrated child molesters that wouldn't help that much. They would and will find other ways of satisfying their sick desires.

Handing a child a loaded gun and telling them not to pull the trigger is a difficult thing to do. Unfortunately, for some, being told what to NOT do makes them automatically want to do it.

The only type of punishment that would work is a combination of physical/psychological punishment, because in some cases, emotional torment would be worse then physical.

And anyway, I am not too sure if capital punishment has served as a great deterrent, but maybe this post is about all the caffiene in my system at this moment..
