Jesusmaryandjoseph I don't know WHAT the fuck my dogs have been eating but god DAMN....I'm sitting here on the couch with my laptop and my minpin is at my feet. Out of no where you hear this slight hissing noise...
I think I vomited a bit in my mouth.

Normall they get the farts when I give them wet dog food or put some sort of gravy shit in their dry food. I haven't done that lately...man I gotta go poop-scoop tormorrow then!

Do you really want to know why? Or was that rhetorical?

I'm curious, mostly cause I'd like it to stop. We feed them every night, at the same time, the required amount for their weight and age. Most dogs are put off by their own shit, but they are interested in their housemates?

It's a fallback from when dogs were wild. A natural instinct. Their droppings hold their scent. And, well, if your a dog with no thumbs, there is really only one way to rid your area of another dogs scent.
It's not something unhealthy or unnatural (to dogs). It's just part of their "hard coding"

My poor dog just got pwned hard. I just found out my mother is in jail.. long story that I don't know anything about yet other than she got a flat tire on the way from Clearwater to Daytona to stay with my aunt for the week and she somehow got into an argument with a florida state trooper. I just don't understand.. anyways.. she had my dog along for the ride. A tiny lil pomeranian.
1) They impounded him.
2)They took his mugshot
3)They listed him as a female on the report
3a) he has a penis.
4) The pound gave him a pink collar and leash..WTF
Poor guy. I really do feel bad for him because he was scared shitless.
Edit because I forgot to list the point of this... he climbs into the cat litter box and eats shit balls... I JUST DON'T GET IT. Talk about shit breath.

Xyelin... Dogs eat cat shit becauses Cats diet is so high in protein that their shit is high in protein and dogs crave protein...
Hence... Why if you have a cat and dog... the dog will eat cat shit every time.

if your dogs are eating each others shit, you can buy coprophagic detering stuff from the vet. It's supposed to make them not eat poo.

I dunno I think it was procedure. He had a HUGE mugshot on the outside of his kennel. All the other cages did too. Asked if we could have the big one and they said no and the deputy printed up a small one for us to take.

Get a girly looking dog, people are going to likely call him a girl.
I get the same thing with my newfoundland. Because she's taller then most others of her breed and because of her sheer size, almost everyone calls her a "he". Even my grandfather keeps calling her "he" even after we correct him.
As for poo eating, my dog had her phase of doing that. Mainly it was her own. If she hadn't stopped by herself I was about to buy the stuff you can put into their food to make their feces taste like....
I guess something other/worse than shit.

Yes well he is a tough mutha for being his size. He thinks he weighs 140 and can take on anything. I originally got him for my daughters since the idea of them wrestling with my pit and kerr didn't appeal to my wife at the time. (based on their size and not their disposition)

Newfoundlands are roughly the size of a wolly mammoth, who can see whats what under all that fur anyway?

touché
She's only about 145, but she's pretty damn tall and furry. She's going to the vet today for her Cotizone shot. She usually gets two shots in the spring/summer for allergies. Plus she's on 3 claritin a day (thank god for price club).

I get that comment all the time when I'm asked how much she weighs.
Yep, she's one big bitch.
