Been noticing that alot of the rogues have been asking for my box after they picked / disarmed it and wanting the sphere inside? Is this part of guild training? Are they worth anything?

Just curious...

They're both for guild training and useful for hunting. I'm not sure of all the spells, but one kind of sphere has 435, there are acid and fire vials, and I think a smoke type thingy.

no, i think that since a rogue with no LM training can't get them, but one who has invested a shit load of time in LM can, it should not be a tip, if they disarm one of those traps, they should keep the vial/sphere.

btw. they are for hurling

They have an AvD above 100 in some cases I believe.

I say it's a tip akin to a scarab in the fact that I can't get them so I don't want them. The rogue always keeps all my scarabs, vials, and spheres plus I tip. That's just how I roll.

The throw vial I tested (green-tinted vial filled with thick acrid smoke, electricity) had an AvD of 114. With no-thrown weapons training, air wall, and from a defensive stance, I was able to hit a lvl 20 creature. They work similarly to immolation, except with other elements. Great fun if you ask me.

The spheres are just various attunements of 435. They don't require special training of any kind, to my knowledge. Fun to play with though.

oooh.. so that's what that thing was for.

I got a grey sphere and was confused when the locksmith told me about it (said it was major e-wave). Next time I'll just give it to em.

disarmed vials can be thrown and have a AvD of 100!!!!
