Train in blunt then you can use it like a melee weapon.

Don't even need to train in blunt. Talindara swings her bow with signs and camo at 118.

I guess that's what I get for not being clear and thorough. You can attack with any weapon, but your effectiveness will be greatly tied to the kind of skill training you have.

I think bows are quarterstaff based in melee. If you train in THW, you can trip someone with them.
