Two quick questsions -
Can you train over 101 times in one particular circle (e.g. training in MnE 152 times)?
If an imbeddible object had a previous spell imbedded in it, can you reimbed it with another spell? I had a pin with colors in it and I wanted to imbed invis into it, but it won't let me - gives me the message saying I dont have enough mental power for that (or something along those lines).
Thanks in advance.

As a wizard you can have 303 spells in total. Where you want to put them is your decision. (Yes that's a total of all three circles combined)
Imbeddable objects: To change the spell inside of the item, the object has to be poured on first, usually grot will do it, however you should get a bard to sing to the item first to make sure it can be reimbedded.

Perfect!
Thanks Jolena for the advice on the grot potion!

I do not think 916 is imbeddable, but I have not tried recently.

One more question - I trained in 10 ranks in Air Lore to get the bigger capacity disks. Is that a farce? Still only holds 3 boxes after my 10 ranks. What gives?

Lore is not worth the TPs, IMHO. :D

It's not a farse. Disks hold a certain number of items (I think base is 8 items) so if you've got a box(1) that's holding a gem(1) and coins(1) and you put in another box (1) that's holding two gems(2) and coins(1) that's 7 items right there. So you can fit one more item, a box with coins wouldn't fit that's 2 items.
I wouldn't get 10 ranks of lore just for the disk space it's not worth the training points. Lores tend to only be worth the points for specialized training. If I were going to be a pure wizard (yeah right) I'd go for as close to 3x spells as possible and no lores. I'd give up whatever I had to in order to be as close to 3x if not 3x in spells. That's me though, and my training plans are generally not for the average player.

Thanks guys.
Its the fine print that always gets me. I just guessed that a box was one item - didn't take into consideration the contents counting toward that count. Oh well..thats what fixskills are all about.
Bamboozeled again.. Damn this game has shitloads of rules I never even read about.

Don't fixskill for 10 ranks of lore. You can unlearn that and just wait on the points. I'd only fixskill if you're doing some major overhauling.
Personally I always like to keep a fixskills in reserve incase something happens and I need to totally retrain.

What he said...I only used my fixskills when I went from practically cloned Anticor training (not planned that way) (and I liked my two handers better than Anti's Pole) *clears her throat...wait maybe uhm...yeah never mind...but yeah I went to the full on 3x spells no lores, was a VERY VERY good plan as well. I would highly recommend either way, swinging with maxed twohanders or poles and Cman, or go for 3x spellcasting. Either way best of luck!

Well, I was hoping my disk would eventually be comparable to the new Airbus, but took your recommendation and just went for the normal migration of skills. It'll put 2 more ranks in one of my circles.
Thanks guys / gals!

Don't worry about the disk. You've got self cast strength and self cast haste. Carry whatever you want. Unless you're not a giant/dwarf/half-krol in that case I'm so, so sorry.

i completely agree. if you are just casting, 3x spells, its what i did, and it was rediculous, infact i REALLY miss my CS now that i dropped a ton of spell ranks and picked up ranged

My mage is a pure and she still singles in lores. She also has a few ranks of MOC for her ball spells. She's a (gasp surprise shocker!) fire mage. So i single in fire lore. I am able to be at about 2.7x spells still as well as .5x'ng in shield for some added DS.
