I kind of plan to draw my own tattoo, with Adobe Illustrator, both the king and queen of spades from Alice in Wonderland.

Here's a sample of the king:

ANY type of criticism is welcome..I'll just take it with a grain of salt cause this shit has to look perfect, hah.

It's gonna be on my right shoulder BTW.

Is that what you are modeling it after, or is that what you’ve done so far?

You had 51 other choices, why that one?

It's what I've done so far..the card background's been kinda rushed. I plan to draw the queen next.

Really well done job. I guess the only thing I would say is the hair and beard seem a little rushed (lacking proper detail), and the facial features are a little weak. Still, you have talent with Illustrator.

Just a suggestion but it'd be a GOOD idea to know/at least be somewhat familiar with the person who is doing your ink. The skill isn't in the drawing but in how good they are at putting it on.

Thanks bro, I actually just got it yesterday, even though I planned to get it next week.

But yea, I went to a place my friends all went to and highly recommended. It was clean, the people were friendly, although a bit pricey. It's 6x4 inches, full color. Cost me around 270 including a 30 dollar tip.

By next week I plan to finish my drawing of the queen of diamonds. This should be fun.

Send a link of the tattoo. Where did you get it done (on your body)? I'm thinking about getting my second one next week.

I got it done on my right shoulder cause uh..I don't want certain people to know I have it.

Yeah, the quality isn't very good cause it's kinda hard to focus a camera on your right shoulder.

Heh, so shit, I went out and got another tattoo, this time, a joker.

Tattoos are addicting.

It would suck if you got 51 cards tattoo'd on your body and had no room for that last card.

Looks good, but why a King of Spades? What is the significance to you?

Embarrasingly enough..there is no significance at all. The only thing I can say is that I drew it myself, heh. I get asked this question lots of times, but I have no regrets.

So far.

Well if you drew it yourself then that is something in itself, too. Don't be embarassed by it. :)
