It is just a fact. 90% of the femals that got their pics taken at SimuCon are overweight. Perhaps the slim ones are camera shy and hiding somewhere? yeah thats it? Cmon we've seen the pics on various websites of the simucon attendees. No need to get overly sensative about it. Its just a fact.

Picture this... You see a 30 year old woman. She is wearing a short pleated skirt, knee high socks, a little white shirt probably cropped high and then the ever typical pigtails. Toss in some obnoxious male losers who havent dated in say oh several years cus they play GSIII all the time.. then toss in a well stocked bar. Heh and not expect any sexual harassment? Especially if the woman has a fairly decent bod. If she doesnt have a nice bod then she will have her pic taken and will be made fun of here. Its just the way it is.

As far as your comments on "overweight" people, remember that Kelly Clarkson is considered overweight by most people in the media, so the sense of what is really 'overweight' is kind of warped.

And who's business is it of yours to say who should be wearing what? I've seen plenty of ugly thin people, and I don't tell them they shouldn't wear things because they are ugly.;) And even if they can wear everything they want and look good body-wise, doesn't mean they should.

What I'm basically saying is that they can wear what they want, if they feel comfortable in it. But that also leaves them open to people making comments--if they look terrible. And the images of large women in school girl outfits frightens me. So I would hope they would have enough common sense not to wear them.

I do not intend to offend, by this post. However, I have attended rather large Simu gatherings. I did not see one person (not including myself, because I am not one to judge myself) that I, or anyone else I know, would find attractive. Nearly every single one of the persons attending was overweight, out of shape, and rather disgusting to look at. The only two persons who weren't overweight were quite a sight also. One was albino (and I know you cannot help that) and one had severely jacked up teeth that hadn't been brushed in years.

Now lets be real here, 90% of these people (over 20) who would otherwise be laughed at, shunned, etc. in normal society play a text-based RPG, to escape their lives (because they obviously have no real life worthwhile). The other portion of the people who play GS are teenagers with nothing better to do (like myself).

So I'd say the fat, middle-aged, dredge-of-society stereotype (with maybe an exception for myself) for those that attend these gatherings is somewhat true. As harsh as that may be.

One is the player of Loxaliss, the player of Zenfinda(sp?), the player of Celestynne, and the player of Aislynne, and the girl who used to play Misery, oh and the player of Annaleesia, there are a few more. But then they dont go to Simucons either except for Zenfinda, thats where I saw her pic. Oh and the player of Jemstra is pretty decent. The one that I saw, anyway. Sorry for the huge run on sentences. hehe

We originally had lines, but it ends up being like 1-2 minutes of screentime. While Jamie Kennedy is describing us. Hah, found a .jpg pic of me so I can be part of the club droppin pics. Taking one with my digital cam is a joke since it's a piece and anything taken from it is laughable in it's own right.

Here's the pic I pulled from the company that I did a shoot for. Went home on leave about two years ago and got volunteered by one of the sergeants to go take some shots in USMC gear. I knew they'd use it for advertising but I didn't know they'd use it in a magazine called Leatherneck ( one of the most circulated periodicals in the Corps) so I see my pic in there, laugh at it and then everyone in the unit sees it's been jokes ever since heh.

Edit: That burn under my left eye was from hot brass ejected by the guy beside me on the rifle range the week before, just glad it didn't scar my ugly mug :cool:

I am sure some of the people who usually attend the "Thrilla" thing have read his posts in this thread. If not they soon will, anyway. Look I can just see it now these people would kick his little ass out in a second.
