I've updated my spreadsheet to include pricing based on HESS prices, Wyromania, Grand Auction and previous sales from this forum (if I could find one). If I am off on anything, please let me know. Pricing these sorts of things is very tough when people update their post to SOLD without the prices/stats/amount included.

Assumes $2.5 per 1K BS and $2.5 per 1M silvers. These are not necessarily the prices I am asking, but giving information for offers.

last I heard was plat items were only gonna be useable by plat players that transfer, and on plat accounts

please excuse my ignorance, I am not sure how all of this works - are the prices adjusted for plat BS cost vs prime cost on the front end or back end? like i know there is like 75% off on SOME stuff but is that reflected in the base cost or at the end? sorry the conversions are already complicated enough without adding an extra layer with plat :help:

The prices listed in the spreadsheet are based on Prime HESS prices, Prime Wyromania, Prime Grand Auction and previous Prime sales from this forum (if I could find one), along with 25% discount assuming account attunement sort of thing. Again, they are not meant to be the prices I am asking, just general information to help bidders.

Allegations? What an odd thing to say. Anyways, all sales would be upon confirmation of the item(s) existence in either Platinum pre-migration or Prime post-migration.

Here’s all we know.

Plat characters are migrating to prime January ish.

Gear maybe sometime later or at the same time

Plat will get no further GM support. Period. Less supported than shattered.

As far as plat gear and if it’s usable in prime: no one stinking knows yet what will happen. The only thing Wyrom has said definitely is that he doesn’t want to create a new item pool (like platinum exclusive gear) out of this. Speculation from the community mean this will either result in account attunement or an influx of freely tradeable Uber gear to prime.

The end. But buying anything right now is a risk.

Have they said anything about character transfers? Like can someone transfer a plat character to an account that has always been prime?

I'm assuming they'll just make it so plat characters can't be transferred, but who even knows anymore with Simu.

It sounded like the plan was migration of data, to an existing prime character of choice. So if you want the same name, make the same named character on prime (if available) then they will transfer the exp (and appearance maybe, that seems in the air) to the prime character. If you don't want the same name, move it all to another existing character. But that was the first pass, I haven't heard anything more definitive since.

Based on what was put out, as of the day of announcement at 9pm, no new characters created at that time in Plat would be allowed to transfer, so any character to be transferred had to be created prior to 11/06/2024 at 9pm. Also, the character had to exist on the owning account on that date.

They said transfers would be closely monitored, so the general understanding is if your account didnt have a Plat character on it at that time, it would not be a part of the process. My guess is with the whiff of folks looking to potentially game the system during this whole migration, transfers are going to be scrutinized.
