Jeopardy!

I've always toyed around with the idea of trying to get on the college edition of Jeopardy. Anyone know someone that's ever been on? I think I'd do pretty well, I know a lot of useless facts, and if there's a Mythology/Classics category I'd fucking pwn.

Did the whole It's Academic! shtick in high school, but aside from that I'm just going off the assumption that I'm smarter than at least 95% of the rest of the country.

My best friend lost to Ken Jennings last season.

He did his regional try-out on Navy-Pier in Chicago.

Brad Rutter went to my high school and was on the same quiz bowl team that I was on. I was on the team with his brother one year. Two years later, our team took nationals.

Been pondering trying out for the show for a long time.

I got picked to go for try outs but chickened out. (I knew I would just clam up in a roomful of strangers)

I have to say that when I played along during those final three days of the tournament of champions, I sucked. Big time. Those questions were hard!

P. S. I would encourage anyone to go try out though. I'll always wonder if I could have made it just a little ways at least.
