You glance down to see some ashen grey high steel full plate etched with crimson traces in your right hand

As you recall Folksinger's song, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the steel full plate in your hand, and you learn something about it...

It imparts a bonus of +50 more than usual.
It is a holy item.
It has been infused with a grappling force.
It is moderately resistant (10%) to crushing attacks.
It appears to weigh about 37 pounds.
It is estimated to be worth about 1,000,000,000 silvers.
It is somewhat padded against critical blows.
It is spiked.
It is predominantly crafted of high steel.
It has been ensorcelled 5 times.
It has been sanctified 5 times. It has permanent Holy Fire flares.
This steel full plate serves to reduce the severity of inflicted wounds when employed against all extraplanar creatures.
It may be enchanted up to a bonus of 50 by a wizard.
It is a daunting project (986 difficulty) for an adventurer to modify.
It has some unknown (scripted) benefit.
It has a permanently unlocked loresong by Folksinger.

This is tier 4 Elven Armor.

Tier
1: Magic Affinity - Spells cast to permanently improve this armor, such as Enchant or Ensorcell, are more easily incorporated into it. Those spells gain a +10 bonus per tier to success rolls.
2: Elven Spell Barrier - Casting while in this armor will generate a protection shield of +5 Bolt DS/+3 TD per tier for 8 seconds (duration refreshable).
3: Spell Alacrity - Casting spells in this armor is occasionally swifter. You have a 1% chance per tier of having your casting time reduced by 1 second (to a minimum cast RT of 1 second) every time you cast a spell.
4: Casting Fluidity - Casting spells in this armor is easier. You gain a reduction of 1% in base spell hindrance for all circles of magic.

Verbs: bow, clean, push, pull, remove, rub, tap, wear

You may alter the steel full plate to change its description, but it must NOT ever imply that it was not originally crafted by elves - it was.

You can tell that the plate is as light as it can get.

Does it have additional extraplanar bane on it, or is the extra planar bane mentioned the effect of the High Steel? I've never owned High Steel, so i dont know if that's how it normally shows up in the loresong or not. Genuinely curious here.

Like if someone transmuted this to a different material, would it lose it's extraplanar bane?

I'm going to side with the fact that's because of the high steel.

You know, on rereading this. I think I was mistaken about the extraplanar bane and I misinterpreted what was there. I'm going to go ahead and cancel this sale since I can't actually edit the title to correct my error. I'll go ahead and repost this later, with a proper, corrected title. Though if anyone is interested in this armor, let me know.

to be clear I misread the line "This steel full plate serves to reduce the severity of inflicted wounds when employed against all extraplanar creatures." I was tired and thought I was seeing extraplanar bane -- this is not the case. Going to pull this sale from here since I cannot edit the title.

If interested in the armor aside from that, write me anyway.

High Steel inherently has extraplanar bane on it. On armor it manifests as critical padding from extra planar creatures. From the wiki: "When forged into armor, high steel provides an additional amount of critical padding (8 points) against attacks made by those foes. Additionally, Ithzir do not enjoy a combat advantage when ambushing an adventurer in high steel armor or carrying a high steel shield. Studded leather armor (AsG 11) is the lowest subgroup that can be created out of high steel."

Here is a discord link to Estild's explanation of what would happen to high steel if transmuting out of it: https://discord.com/channels/226045346399256576/1138960984824885378/1141017867052138588 It's worth noting though, that the Elven armor script might only be usable on eahnor, vaalorn, and high steel - so xmuting wouldn't be recommended unless you want to strip that script.
