I'm trying out the Warrior profession (Dwarf) and have the skills listed below. He's Level 24 right now.

He's a OHB with shield and wearing Brig armor (scalemail). He has a greathelm with spikes and a medium shield with spikes. OHB = Morningstar. I am in the Warrior Guild, but only just started (1 rank per skill so far).

I haven't trained any CMANs, ARMOR Specs, nor SHIELD Specs yet. I guess that's where I need help - trying to figure out where to spend my cman, armor spec, and shield spec points. Any advice on the training plan I posted below is also welcome.

I was thinking of the following as a starting place. Are these good choices for a start, or should I look to spend those points elsewhere?

Thanks a lot!

CMAN:

stance
blockspec
wspec

ARMOR SPECIALIZATION:

support
spikemastery

SHIELD SPECIALIZATION:

spikemastery
mfocus
throw (maybe?)
trample (maybe?)

I'm lazy and get as many passive abilities as possible. But that's probably just me.

I go for Combat Focus because an extra +10 TD for a warrior ain't too shabby.

I also like Combat Mobility because automatically standing up if you're prone when attacked is a nifty bonus.

Combat Movement is a free +10 DS, which isn't really all that great for warriors. But again, I'm lazy and I like passives.

I also think Cunning Defense is worth it, a bit of extra protection against CMANs never hurt no one.

wspec is for sure a good one for Warriors.

Surge of Strength is a good non-passive one if you don't mind dealing with the cooldowns and whatnot.
