Just curious, why do you train in stalking and hiding? This isn't a slam but a serious question

Well back in the day my training plan was looking at being about .6x stalk and hide just because I had alot of physical points. Then I realized it wouldn't make much sense. I was going to have the skill for fun not to hunt or anything and 916 works alot better. So after I ditched the stalk and hide I focused on getting MOC alot sooner.
