Can't install the launcher?

I've never had this problem before. When I try to install the launcher it says it didn't install and would I like to run it in compatibility mode, then it tries running it for things like earlier versions of Windows.I let it try to do that and I also just tried it normally several times but it never installs.
What could be going wrong here? Its a a relatively new machine and I've been able to install and run most of the other software I usually use just fine.

I had a similar problem a while back, I ended up using another device to install it on a flash drive then used the flash drive on the new pc and then that worked. It wasn't the perfect solution but it worked.
