Before I fixskills I was wondering if anyone has an interesting sorc armor setup. I've been in fulls forever but maybe I'll change if I find somin interesting going on.

I wear 5x HCP Cuirbioulli. 6% hindrance sucks. However, since wearing it I have only died to eye crits.

This is saying something, as I hunt in offensive with 1 spirit quite often.

I would second the Cuirb vote for Wizards and Sorcerers if you get the nifty hcp sets that are about.

Mind letting me see your set up? Also what do you hunt. Got any numbers on failed casts?

I am a bare bones brawler. 27 armor ranks and 1x weapon/shield is too costly for anything but some FA ranks and Perception.

27 armor ranks for me, wearing 4x VHCP Leather Breastplate. I might get up to 35 armor ranks for cuirb if I find some wicked arm greaves I like.

I know extra arm protection for archer's is super spiffy Im assuming it would be just as nice for casters assuming you cant cast without that right arm.

Fuck! I'm playing with my skills.. I'll have to drop from 2x SA to 1x if I want to go brawling... unless I .5x in shields. Any thoughts on how much that DS in offensive that would gen?

Can anyone tell me what ya think sufficient training in shields with be? .6ish? I forget at what point the diminishing returns kick in and I can't find my xcel disk to install right now.

Ok I went 1x shield and 1x brawling and using a 4x shield I lost DS both in offensive and defensive....manana I go back to runestave.

Wait till a critter claws or tries to bite you. Also closed fist, ect.

Weird, you should've gained DS if you went fully 1x in Weapon/Shield.

I know.. WTF..?? it is actually lower in offensive and 10 lower in defensive. I'm going to have to check the logs for spells but the difference is so very little considering the 5 million magic ranks I gave up.
