When I logged into Lich today, I got this message in both lnet AND repository, even after I tried to update it:

--- warning: Your computer thinks the date is 06-06-2024. If this is the
--- correct date, you need an updated version of this script. If
--- this is not the correct date, you need to change it. In either
--- case, this date makes the SSL certificate in this script
--- invalid and will prevent LNet from connecting to the server.

Now both scripts won't work for me on my Windows 10 build, but all my other scripts still seem to work. Any suggestions?

Tillmen updated ;repo to fix this error, but you might not be able to download the fix with this bug still present.

Doing this in game should get you a working ;repo though:

;lich5-update --script=repository.lic

I tried this method and got:

--- Lich: could not find script 'lich5-update' in directory C:/Users/Scott/Desktop/lich/scripts

I looked and found a similar script called updater and entered ;updater update and got:

[updater: error connecting to server: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. - connect(2) for "216.224.???.??" port ????] (question marks added)

This is odd. Any other suggestions and thanks!

Which version of Lich are you running?

Also you should be able to download the newest version of the script here:

Thanks so much, Tgo01. I went ahead and replaced my repository script and ran it and got:

--- Lich: repository active.
You need to have the 'terminal-table' gem installed
Please install it with the following command: gem install terminal-table
Via your computer's local terminal/shell
--- Lich: repository has exited.

I take it that I need to update the whole lich suite to the most current version (mine's an older and no-longer-stable version). So I'll have to do that. Thanks again.

Yeah that's probably your best bet.
