Who does your character look like?

I know there has been a thread like this previously but I was inspired.

I was watching Van Helsing for the first time ever (I know, I live in a box) and was like, DAMN, there's Nalina. Kate Beckinsale is exactly how I envision her, even with a similar attitude in the movie.


I want her hair. :(

Sadly, Dark elves (with dark colored skin) will rarely really have a real life human which they would resemble. Evarin's skin is black as night, yet he has the features of a fair elf.

A black Legolas? It just doesn't work.

I can't think of any famouse anyones that my characters look like in my head. Honestly, that's one reason I won't have character portraits done. It's never exact, plus it forces that image on other people. If I wanted that, I'd play a graphics game.

Although, someone once told me he pictures my empath looking a little like Catherine Zeta-Jones.

My warrior looked like Antonio Banderas combined with John Cusack and then becoming a professional boxer and taking a lot of hits to the face.

My rogue looked like one of the Matrix Twins combined with the main character (Ivan Isaacs) from Priest.

I always evisioned Jolena looking a lot like Arwen from LOTR. Others have told me they see her as similar to her as well. The only difference would be Jolena now has scarlet hair and she's really REALLY short. But as far as facial features, build, demeanor, etc. Yeah..that's the one.

Stay shares many similar characteristics of D the Vampire Hunter (the pallor, the hat, the hair etc), though some things remain different. The other is Dextra's representation of Stay (sans hat).

Kurapira is kinda visioned after Shiva from Final Fantasy. I still need to get her features done. Of course, Kurapira would be a dark featured Shiva.

As for Aurawyn, I've found pics that make me think of what she looks like. Not a rl person though.

Ivory skin... very long silver blonde hair... etc.

The whole style I got from Arkans is an altered form of the Waffen SS. I used the idea of them in the trenchcoat, the color scheme (just a bit more black), and just didn't put the cap or helmet on his head. Overall, it's supposed to give a very clean cut, yet opressive look.

As far as the Death's Head skull, I put those on his collar instead of on the hat.

I wasnt always familiar with her as an actress but some time after I made Jihna I saw a picture of Daryl Hannah when she was a bit younger. Add red hair, grey eyes, 1337 warrior arm muscles and make her a giant. Thats her.

edit: This is the picture i think. The expression, facial structure and hair similarities is what got me.

The weights in GS are so off, it hurts. I practice fencing and swordfighting. My leathersmith friend (www.leathersmythe.com) does jousting. I weigh less than 120 and he's about 150. You do NOT need to be around 200 pounds to fight effectively in the styles used in GS.

I don't see how my average height female elf weighs 150+ completely naked. So I ignore weights in GS. They're completely unrealistic anyway.
