Skype is huge in Europe, less so in America. You can call real phone numbers around the world for about a penny a minute, you buy pre-paid block of minutes when you sign up for a skype account. It's a cheap way to call overseas.

I wanted to reply to Stray and link him to the page about Skyin, but then I realized that it says the person calling YOU would be charged long distance rates. I'm not sure if Skyin sells long distance, so I just deleted the posts until I knew enough.
