Scroll Infusion Question

From what I've read, the definate factors in 714 are:

Arcane Symbols
Magic Item Use
Harness Power
Elemental Mana Control
Spirit Mana Control

Are Spell Aiming, Sorcerer spell ranks, or level in the formula?

To be honest at lvl 14 your success would be rather dismal and would be better off having a higher level sorc friend help do your scrolls. I'd focus on something other than 714 with this fixskills and look into next May possibly.

lvl 14 sorc trying to infuse them would more than likely end in them burning up in your hands.

There is a straight number of ranks benefit to the spell, and you must meet certain threshholds to have a chance at certain spells. Its an old person spell.

How old is old, do you mean ranks or leveI? I can get 30? 7xx ranks at 14.

Both as ranks are related to lvl.

It depends on the spell, I am hoping it is similar to Enchanting where spell ranks greatly outweigh other factors including level.

If you 2x Arc Sym, this will give you a tangible bonus, though you will still be struggling with all but minor defensive spells at level 20.

Your best bet is to not attempt to fully charge a spell, but instead put 1-5 charges into a spell, then use it until there is none left (in that spellslot, not the scroll). You will greatly lessen the chance of locking your scroll.

I have seen a 65+ sorcerer who I believe is 2x still fail regularly at infusing intermediate/advranced scrolls. It is an awesome spell, but it is also very tricky.
