Let's pump the brakes a bit. CotY yea, maybe. But they played TCU who lost a LOT from last year and Nebraska who has been in the gutter for a while now with a new coaching staff.

People forget that his kid and hunter were two of the top prospects coming out of high school. The really impressive thing is how Deion cleaned out the old team and rebuilt it through the transfer portal so easily. With the NIL deals things will get really interesting once they finally move away from the playoff system and go to the relegation leagues.

My oldest son is a student at Colorado School of Mines. Not quite the same thing, I know. I’m proud of him but also a bit jaded he goes skiing every weekend and has such a gifted mind that he doesn’t have to study much to do well. I wasn’t like that, but he must have got that from me. His mother is a dumb whore. (My ex-wife and jk…kind of…)
