Hoping the hive here knows some information about this scythe a friend of mine has and what it could potentially be worth, if it holds value.

Snake Scythe

a sharp-bladed black ora scythe with a sinuous grey-hooded cobra wrapped around it

As you recall Jaskier's song, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the black ora scythe in your hand, and you learn something about it...

It imparts a bonus of +20 more than usual.
It appears to weigh about 9 pounds.
It is estimated to be worth about 52,000 silvers.
It is predominantly crafted of black ora.
It may be enchanted up to a bonus of 20 by a wizard and was last enchanted by Mischung.
It is a basic project (111 difficulty) for an adventurer to modify.
It has a temporarily unlocked loresong by Jaskier for 24 days, 23 hours and 37 minutes.

J>analyze scy
You analyze your black ora scythe and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.

The creator has also provided the following information:
This weapon has a snake that can wrap around it. The scythe can be altered, bearing in mind that the item will always format as: a sharp-bladed black ora scythe with (serpent description) wrapped around it. Within that, the base 15/15/15 of the weapon can be altered. The serpent description can as well but should remain reasonable in length (for example: "silvery blue fanged serpent") and cannot be dead/ghost/etc. -- it mirrors a living snake. You can also add a show.

You should be able to TILT, RUB, PROD, STARE, TAP, SMOOCH/KISS, HUG, and PULL the scythe. Be warned: some actions may not be the smartest move when a snake is involved.

You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the black ora scythe for you.

J>tilt scy
You tilt your scythe from left to right, the light playing off of it. The sinuous grey-hooded cobra wrapped around it looks highly annoyed and hisses, baring its fangs.
J>rub scy
As you touch your scythe, the sinuous grey-hooded cobra recoils defensively and rattles its tail.
J>prod scy
You prod at your black ora scythe with the tip of your finger, and the sinuous grey-hooded cobra coiled around it lunges out at you, flickering its silvery black tongue as a warning signal.
J>stare scy
You stare intently at the sinuous grey-hooded cobra spiraled around your black ora scythe. With a transfixed stare, its icy black eyes seem to follow you cautiously as if ready to strike.
J>tap scy
You gently tap your black ora scythe and the sinuous grey-hooded cobra hisses as it hurriedly slithers down the length of it in a tight spiral. Just as quickly, it turns and slinks back to its original position.
J>smooch scy
As you ignorantly attempt to kiss your black ora scythe, the sinuous grey-hooded cobra lashes out at you aggressively! What ever were you thinking?
J>hug scy
J>
As you ignorantly attempt to hug your black ora scythe, the sinuous grey-hooded cobra lashes out at you aggressively! What ever were you thinking?
J>pull scy
You grab your sinuous grey-hooded cobra wrapped around your scythe and give it a solid yank! It hisses dangerously at you.

I had a maul with a snake on it like this. Cool script based flares that would do direct damage + strong poison.

Snake flares aren't common, but they aren't the best mechanically either.... though the aesthetics of them are great (esp for rangers). Also, polearms aren't the most popular weapons and the black ora will turn a lot of folk off it, but there are those that LOVE that metal.... so finding the right buyer would be key.

I wanna say 5-10m.... but that's a tough one...

I sold a 6x snake weapon not too long ago for 20m. It was on the market for a while though, and snake flares come in a number of flavors, mine was the paralysis flare that functioned like bind does, which added some extra value. Fun weapons all in all though, who doesn't want a snake on a stick.
