I got one to replace my RTX 3080.
It doesn't fit in my case.
Time to get a PCIe Extender ribbon and have that bitch sit outside the case.
The GPU is fucking huge.

Time to get a bigger case. I had to get a bigger case when I jumped up to the 4080.

I'm going to eventually, but I'm going to be basically building a new computer too. For now, it is just going to be chilling outside my case.
I guess it'll have plenty of airflow.
They actually make external GPU cases, but they are all for connecting to laptops and none of them seem to allow for connection via a PCIe extender.

Make sure to get a good quality PCIe extender, I've had some of them catch fire in mining rigs.

It got one from ASUS, it seems to be doing well.

How the fuck do you buy a giant ass GPU and not know if it'll fit in your case until after you buy it? You Seran retarded or something?
I know that any GPU longer than 13 inches won't fit in my case. So I don't buy a GPU longer than 13 inches. My old 980Ti was the longest GPU I've had (surprisingly about an inch longer than my 3080Ti I have right now) and it just fit. I sure as hell made sure I had room in my case before I just simply purchased it.
I'd say, get a bigger case because I personally wouldn't trust an extender....hell, I wouldn't trust the power cable not catching fire on those shitty 12 pin power connectors Nvidia uses on them.

Seran would look at the card itself while holding it in his hand and be like, "Where are the graphics?"

Because I figured it would be the same length as my prior 3070. The extender works fine.
