So we've had the fiasco's about how long he's played GS, which school he goes to (if any) and who he actually really is. Now he's claiming to have voted when a number of extreme possibilities have arisen which proves he cannot of.

Well you can't vote without a birth certificate, national insurance number and passport over here. Your Dad's obituary won't cut it. And Blair's constituency isn't Leistershire either. Child. And additionally I don't know how the fuck you even left the country (supposedly) without the above details to go to America and study.

Regardless of which even if you HAD the above info you can't vote. None British citizens or residents must have lived in the country for five years minimum and then been on the electoral register prior to this within the last 15 years. As you are 19, you cannot of been on the register. Ergo you can't have voted.

Do yourself a favour, admit you lied. Someone might actually start respecting you then.

And here is where people don't see the difference in content.

It is no more ok for me to call someone "gay" as an insult than it is for any other member. However, when the "no no" words are used in a different context as part of a debate, the usage becomes acceptable.

I can't call people "fags" as that is insulting and derogatory towards sexuality. It casts said sexuality in a negative light and implies that homosexuality is bad/wrong.

Now, the manner in which I used the terms is non-directive and serves as an example of tactics taken by the cognitively impaired.

Before anyone gets the idea of changing the context of the "no no" words and inserting them into every post, like a kid trying to get away with something, that becomes disruptive ... disruptive is a "no no".

And to Parker:

This is where you can seperate the two types of wind bags (Tamral and Tabor).

Tams may or may not be back. He tends to take long vacations after having his ass handed to him. Call it wound licking, breathing space, regrouping ... doesn't matter. It wouldn't shock me if Tams starts posting in another couple of months as if nothing happened.

In my opinion, what starts these things is the poster who antagonizes others to the point of sending those people on the offensive. Once this point is reached, people will go to unbelievable effort to find something to bring into question the validity of their antagonizer. It's human nature.

We've had a couple of recent instances of people who used untruths in an effort to boost their standing in this community while, simultaneously, denigrating the standing of others. I've noted, over the years, that this style of posting always ends in the same way.

Perhaps, a lesson will be learned here. Perhaps not. Personally, I don't particularly enjoy seeing people put down. It's not fun to me. However, if a poster finds it necessary to do so, I can certainly answer in kind, as can others. When one puts one's hand in the fire, one is likely to pull back a burnt appendage.

Don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say anywhere that Tabor is innocent. I discussed the amazing behaviour by folks that I expected better from, their behavior was pitchfork mob mentality to me, don't confuse that as a free pass for Tabor.

I think that it's so far overboard that folks are searching voting records for him with his real name. And we are doing this because....because he uses a thesaurus to generate posts that almost no one would pen except someone out to try and impress, tells untruths about where he lives and goes to school etc? Has he done something more heinous that I have missed?

Actually, I hold no personal opinion on Tabor. Your thoughts and mine are probably not as different as it might seem, TRL.

However, I do know these boards pretty well, and I'm aware of what's going to happen if someone makes the errors here that Tabor has made. I see it coming long before it arrives in full battle regalia. ;)

As I said, I find no joy in seeing anyone debased. I don't really understand those who do, but to each his/her own. I do recognize that there are things one can get away with here, and things one can't. Tabor happend to slip into a puddle of the "cant's", I'm afraid.

So, whether he deserves it or not is a question each person will have to answer for themselves. He did, however, bring it upon himself, in my opinon.

How the heck did this thread turn into a Dave burn? This thread is about Tabor. Whether I like board roasts, or not, if we're going to have one, might we make some small effort to keep it to one roastee at a time?

Whether, in my mind (or TRL's, for that matter) a person deserves to be roasted far beyond well-done on the boards, or not, is not the issue.
