Anytime in my life, I've had small collections of things. Like glass figurines, unicorns, dolls, etc the normal girly things. But I never really went anywhere with them. Then one day about 6 months ago I bought a paul frank shirt. Then I bought another, then I bought underware sets, purses, watches and more. I've gotten to the point i'm constantly looking on ebay for paul frank deals, traveling to Chicago just to go to their store, spending about half of every paycheck on Paul Frank stuff! Anyways, not that this is a bad thing.. well I guess it is. Does anyone else have any weird obsessions like this?

Ditto. Most of our living room is taken up by book cases. Same thing with our bedroom. I have over a thousand favorite books ('favorite' because I only keep the ones I really really like.) People walk into our apartment and say it's like a freakin' library.... which would be good, since I've been accused of looking like a librarian.

I also collect action figures and comic books, although not to the extent that my boyfriend does... I could fill ten big bookcases with books and he could fill 'em with action figures.

Candles. I love candles...especially nice smelling candles.

I'm not obsessive about it, but if I can get my hands on some nice candles, I'm a happy lady.

Skulls are nice to collect, too.

I like to write, alot. I have piles and piles of disks and printed works laying around the house. When I need an idea for a game or story, I just pull out one of the many boxes filled with my writings and find something to work off of.

I swear my house is a fire trap.

I don't collect anything either. When i was a kid i'd collect baseball cards, but my dad threw all of em away when i got caught stealing like 12 packs out of the store.

Also roleplaying books. My SW-RPG GM always makes fun of me because I have almost as many SW books as he does. I also have the largest collection of D&D books (2nd & 3rd, as well as the new '3.5' ) in our group of friends.

Dress clothes (suits, ties, shoes, etc) I work in a men's clothing store and everytime something new comes in and I like it I own it. I'm poor but I'm well dressed.

Pocket watches, I've been collecting them for awhile, it's the only collection that I took with me to the Marine Corps. I had it in my barracks room to give the place a small personal touch (other than that it was spartan save my computer)

Books. I tend to lend out books and never see them again so I keep buying them. I think I've bought Dune and Ender's Game about five times each just because when I find someone that hasn't read it I give them a copy because I think they are both such great books.

Those three things that I collect and my wife pretty much account for all of my paycheck...

I collect and paint metal miniatures, most fantasy stuff. Before congress passed the law banning all uses of lead in manufacturing, my house was on the EPA's Superfund Site list ;)
