Hi, guys. I was craving a Metroid-style experience recently and came across the Ori series. The first game "Blind Forest" was excellent but fairly limited in scope to platforming puzzles and time pressure escape challenges (which were really quite exciting and challenging!). But the second game "Will of the Wisps" took it to another level by adding combat, boss battles, more skills and customization, and that metroid-esque exploration where you keep going back after unlocking new skills to access previously inaccessible areas. It also has really beautiful environments, one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard, and a cute and heartbreaking story. It's one of those games that really makes you appreciate video games as a true form of art. So, if you're looking for games like Metroid and you haven't tried Ori, take a look at Ori and the Will of the Wisps!
Here's a quick video I uploaded of one of those escape sequences. The music, sound effects, and this gigantic sand worm roaring and snapping its jaws at me as it chased me through this cavern made for an awesome gaming experience! It's a fairly challenging sequence, but you can see I flubbed up in several places and still made it through, so it isn't kick you in the nuts difficulty like some of these games can be.

I am also looking for suggestions on other games of this kind to try. I already have Hollow Knight. What else would you guys recommend?
