Thinking of rolling a twc/ohe bard (yea, I know it sounds ludicrous) but am curious, if sonic blade is used to sing a blade, will I be able to sing two blades, one for each hand?

No. You'd use a normal weapon in the left hand. Dual short swords works well.

Well, that bites! Wishful thinking of swinging two dual-flaring sonic blades. Oh well, only in my dreams! :D

Well, I used dual short swords well. If you're rich enough to get a Krolvin Backslasher, or the Coraesine < sp > shortsword, it can be quite lethal. My level 15 Bard uses twin lightning flaring kris pretty decently.

actually, you'd probably want to use the sonic in the left hand. since its best to use the lighter of the two for your off hand, and well, its a sonic, so not much lighter

not that it would matter much with 2 light blades.

my bard is 24, rocking the twc/ohe, and its awesome. nice thing when he hunts undead too, he only needs 1 bless, since the sonics are permablessed at 2x

Ok, where are you guys rocking at? because I have a bard and it's so hard to take her hunting even at full spell up, does anybody have any training guide for stat, skills and hunting grounds for a bard?

Can anybody post some stat and training examples to train such a bard please? Just curious what to lean more towards with the stats. Thanks in advance.

before you drop MOC and air lore.... ask about it.

My sonic warlance double flares a bunch and almost always flares.

I am singled in MOC.

when I MOC a room full and 3 hits flare and more than one flare doubles its cool.

I love my moc.

IM if you have any questions.

So, how hard is it to train a bard, and where do the bottlenecks in their trainings show up?

Drinin

I believe that I am the highest trained twc/ohe bard, so here's how I trained mine:

Name: Drinin O'the'blade Race: Sylvankind Profession: Bard (not shown)
Gender: Male Age: 407 Expr: 5303021 Level: 78

In any event, I had always wanted to have Drinin either swing two weapons or use one weapon two handed (bastard swords mainly), with the GS4 switchover I was able to accomplish that. At the time of the switch, I was level 54, so my experience will be from that point on.

As far as hunting goes, I have never had any trouble advancing, in fact I've found it very easy. In any event, your main problem will be offensive stance DS. With the above training, self spelled, wearing 6x armor, and with a 6x sonic weapon in my offhand I pull 314 DS in offensive, not that great. A bard using a sonic shield will probably be at or above 350. Then again, it's very rare that I am ever caught in an offensive stance. In a multi creature situation I'll just sit in advanced or forward (I have plenty enough AS in both stances to hit shit in the Aquaduct). Between a 1 second feint and song of rage (and lullabye of course) creatures usually do not even have the chance to get an attack off.

i know all about it, its a personal choice. i'd much rather be in better armor soon, i can always add the air lore back in later. and MOC with polearms isnt worth it to me

Well as I slowly sift through my old Premium account and get re-aquainted with the characters I found that I have a level 14 TWC Bard from 3-4 years ago. He is getting close to level 15 now.

As soon as I go back out and hunt with him I will post his current training. I have been toying with the idea to re-adjust his stats but I am not sure right now.

Okay here are my stats and training.
I havent changed the starting stats though.

This actually seems to work reasonably even when up-hunting a little. Still getting the hang of that. Mana is my big issue.
