You just grabbed these for a lot less at auction, did you regret the buy? Curious, where are you seeing all that silver in added value since then?

I was mostly bidding for fun at the auction and didn't expect to win them - though considering my main is a cleric I knew they would be a pretty hot win at that price. There wasn't a ton of thought put into it given it was a 60 second auction but I bid and I won so I had to make a tough decision.
For a few days afterwards I considered keeping them but I decided I'd rather try and sell at their actual cost than add them to my investment in GS gear. I generally do not invest in super high end items (currently using a nerve staff happily).
I don't really believe in the notion that a 60 second auction in GS sets the actual value/price of an item. We see things go for cheap on lnet all the time. The value of these is what someone would pay for them, which is based on a number of factors including what it would cost to buy them at DR and put player services on them at T0 compared to T5 (and rowan compared to glowbark, etc.). With that in mind I tried to back-calculate their value and add a little discount and see what happens. If I sell them at half their value, someone would probably just buy them and resell them for more so that makes no sense to me.
I will continue adding services as if I were going to use them - and eventually that will raise the price/value - and if no one buys then I'll just use them myself.
Thanks for your interest.

Sanct upgraded to S3 on the staff.
When I find an S4 for the staff I'm probably going to raise the price of the listing for the first time.

How much were these items at the auction? I thought on project pieces the advice was to ensorcel first, then sanct, then enchant, then grit?

Sanct first. The cost of high end ensorcell is way less than sanct.

Yeah, I'd say phantasm has the list exactly backwards.

Isn't there a strong argument to make for ensorcelling armor first since that provides a direct +10 warding defense against all spells and all enemies?
Totally agree that, unless you're a melee person obsessed with Spell Thieve or something, ensorcelling a weapon should likely be last on the list.

t1 ensorc has a lot of value if the other properties on the weapon leave the item difficulty fairly low. If you're starting a perfect weapon project for example, 25 or 75 difficulty is still bottom of the barrel while t1 ensorc enables some cman and is good bang for the buck.
That doesn't help this specific set of gear, simply noting that order of operations can change based on a few factors.

H2U makes a good point. When we talk about "what to do first", it's usually on the basis of minimizing the cost of player services from start to finish. In that case, you generally want to do the things that are the most expensive (sanct) and add the least difficulty (wps, enchant) first. Ensorcell is always last because it adds the most difficulty (50 per) and is roughly half the price of sanctification.
We could change the priority if we made utility the overall goal...but for that to be the case, you'd have to be planning to spend quite a long time from start to finish.
In this case, I'll probably have everything done in a few months, even while waiting for good prices and my own guys to collect resources so I can do some casts myself.
Anyways, back on topic: I added 6 more crit services to the hunts and have not changed the asking price.

The doubles are now S4 sanctified. Same price.

The staff is now S4 sanctified and the asking price has gone up a bit (less than the cost of the S4). The deal to buy both remains the same price.

Added S5 to the staff and raised the asking price. The bundle deal price is still 690m.

Added S6 Holy Fire, T1, and T2 to the staff and raised the asking price accordingly. I'm still keeping the bundle deal at the same price though.
It might be a few months before I add more services to the staff...my sorc can do the T3 but he's booked on a long-term suffusion project. I'm not really in a rush anyways. I will continue to add services to the doubles though.

T3/T4 ensorcell added to the staff. Raised the asking price by 15m. Bundle deal is still the same price.

Added T5 to the staff and enchanted it up to 6x. I now consider it complete.
I'm also waffling on whether or not I want to keep these now...
Also, I'm building up suffusion/grit on my baby warriors to add more padding to the armor before I ensorcell it...not sure when I plan to take it to 7x - maybe after this next round of padding.
