Has anyone seen the Orbitz "makes searching for gay friendly resorts" commercial interesting?

Yeah. I saw it last night during Will and Grace and even I thought "What the fuck??"

Yeah, because it's sooo worth the advertising dollars to spend money on 1% of the population...
My 2 cents

If you think homosexuality only encompasses 1% of the population, I laugh at you.
Ha ha!

Then we laugh together
The 2003 Janus Report concluded that 9% of males and 5% of females had had homosexual experiences more than just "occasionally."
Still, 5-9% is a very VERY small minority.
Edited for this:
A 2004 Alan Guttmacher-sponsored study of men aged 20-39 estimated that only 1.1% of men had had only male homosexual partners within the last 10 years.

More and more markets are catering to the 'pink dollar'. It's been an untapped niche that they're learning to target. Generally, gay couples = DINK. Double income, no kids. They also earn more than average.

When will Orbitz give me the search for "gamer friendly resorts"

Gamer friendly resorts will be places where people sit in a room and type on a computer all day...they have that, it's called a Cubicle.

I just thought the actual commercial was slightly over the top. Not sure If I would want my daughters watching two guys play with each others ears while searching for a hotel. Not like I can use a V-chip on commercials. Anyways I don't really have a problem with it but it just caught me by surprise.
P.S. I have the miller lite cat fight commercial on special edition DVD.

Also, did anyone else think Raven was throwing some weird slur at gay couples for a second there? That was confusing.

DINK is an acronym for what he said; "Double Income No Kids" which means that they have a ton of money coming in, and very little necessary spending to be done.

I understood what it meant as I read further into Raven's post, but I was unaware of what it meant before. That's why I put "for a second".

I use orbits to book my flights. They've had that gay and lesbian travel thing for a long time.
