Waggle and Mental Acuity

I may be asking a minority here, but I was curious if anyone knew if Waggle took Mental Acuity into account for Stamina instead of Mana. I'm assuming it doesn't, just hoping to be pleasantly surprised that I won't have to find a way around it when I get around to unlocking Acuity.
