Discord will possibly record your video calls, voice calls and channels including screen shares.

With their new privacy policy, which will be effective after the 27th March, Discord will record/store your video calls, voice calls/channels, including your screen shares.

They have removed

We generally do not store the contents of video or voice calls or channels.

and

We also don’t store streaming content when you share your screen

out of their privacy policy which is/was effective from March 28, 2022 to March 26, 2023.

Old (and still effective as of now) privacy policy:

I don't know if this will actually impact anyone that uses Discord for GSIV, but I still find it another reason to completely avoid that piece of shit software.

Well that's not good.

I don't use Discord for voice or video though, doubt I ever will.

I would hazard a guess that you can more or less safely assume that anything you say or type online today has a decent chance of being recorded anyway, it's probably a good practice to assume as much, regardless of the companies' individual privacy policies.
