Depends how you count break even. That's the break even on strictly the BS. If you take the extra 10BS per run it drops to 2.3, if you count the Orbs/bag parts (I know the drop on the parts is terrible) it's probably a bit lower. If you throw in your 4% cash back from the Credit card company maybe a little lower.

I used to buy BS years ago, but with there being effectively almost zero spread between selling a book and buying the BS I just sell the books now.

Drained about gemstone and Wyrom and the bad decisions. Drained that Goat and some other players SLAMMED their huge BS load cause they buy it at the source and get their CC %. Drained that some GMs play on alt accounts and unload their "gifts" for BS.

Next DR, I had to pay more attention as I edited the scripts to be more efficient but needed to do this and that for the WORTHY items and so on. I think the 2020 Feb DR was like huge profit for me, like double what I anticipated but damn I was drained.

Drained about gemstone and Wyrom and the bad decisions. Drained that Goat and some other players SLAMMED their huge BS load cause they buy it at the source and get their CC %. Drained that some GMs play on alt accounts and unload their "gifts" for BS.

But after DR, here goes the cashout, so happy moments!

So uhh.....are there even any good items at this DR? Other than that epic 5k silver decay saver of course...

I had around 45k BS built up over the past couple years, never really had anything at DR I found interesting except for a new item that came out this year - the forging apron. I don't recall what the cost was for the apron itself, maybe 5k BS, then 7k for Tier 2 and 10k for Tier 3. Tier 3 allows you to add gold glyphs to make them unlimited.

I now have an apron that holds all my glyphs, makes them nearly weightless and unlimited uses. The apron is attuned to my character (has to be before you can add glyphs to it) and I've got nearly all OHE, OHB and THW glyphs on it. Glyphs cannot be removed, if you try to remove them the glyph is destroyed. Even got my hands on a set of lance head/hilt glyphs (though I'm not mastered in polearms yet). This is one item I've found interesting enough to spend my saved up BS on.

Generally, for me, it's just BS spent at the ore wagon (which I haven't found a single rare slab this DR and I spent around 10k BS so far) and the couple of smithy invites I get from my freebie Simucoins I build up throughout the year. I don't care about the other crap that comes through DR.
