[Town Square, Small Park]
A small, shaded park fills an old vacant lot behind a row of buildings, the bright lamplight from the square filtering through the passage to the north to illuminate the area with a soft glow. A weatherworn grey marble statue of a stocky human in pioneer's clothing overlooks the park, his stone hat encrusted by the gifts of decades of passing birds and his right hand half-upraised as if it once held some now-missing object. You also see the Durfin disk, a scratched steel coffer, a battered mithril box, a plain mithril coffer, some cactacae spine, a scratched cup, some wolifrew lichen and some aloeas stem.
Also here: Great Lady Penelopia, Durfin, Kenstill, Lord Whisip, Lord Jameszz, Teranika who is sitting, Mafithian, Tijay
Obvious paths: north, south, west

You come out of hiding.
You trace a simple rune while intoning the mystical phrase for Elemental Wave...
Your spell is ready.
>
You gesture.
A wave of dark ethereal ripples moves outward from you.

There are screams of terror as townspeople frantically try to scramble out of the way of the wave. A mother snatches up her young child just in time for both to be knocked to the ground by the onslaught. You hear other voices shouting, "Someone help us!"

Trade is forced out of hiding as he is knocked to the ground by the dark ethereal waves.
Penelopia is buffeted by the dark ethereal waves, and is knocked to the ground.
Durfin is buffeted by the dark ethereal waves, and is knocked to the ground.

< You say, "Bad thief, I reckon." >

If you'd swung a lawnmower/machette blade, and said "Mmmmmhmmm", I'd cried from laughing of pulling off a Slingblade.

Heh, I saw Trade die last night and though, "What a stupid name." Nice one.

It looks like you didn't get charged for murder unless you edited it out. Please file a Bug Report pronto!

Heh. Park seems to be filled with pre-lvl 20 thieves these days. They really need a good crash course on thieving. If you had let him live a minute and confronted him you KNOW he would have either started talking shit or slammed. Being a young/poor thief in the park is the equivalent of a lvl 20 sorcerer going around trying to implode everything.

The only thief I can find foolish enough to steal from Ganalon was one about 15 lvls older than him.

Every time I visit the landing I go trolling in the park to see if anyone will attempt a lift. I lead tragic boring life I guess. Perhaps I'll adjust my profile prior to my next visit...
