Does a rogue need this skill for scarabs?

And to further expand that answer althou it helps I myself have none and do just fine with scarabs at 2x disarm and 404.

I personally see no reason to get it unless you want to actually use scrolls for yourself its a nifty bonus for scarab value. Granted Ive only worked on level 50 boxes and down but I don't see my views changing for awhile.

Don't you also need Arcane Symbols for reading runes to get into some hunting places?

Yea but unless they changed it you only need the ranks if your underhunting the area, once you hit a certain age ... forgot the number been too long ... you can read them without any ranks in it.

dont think so.

my 53 train rogue has trouble getting in with only 10 ranks

It used to be level 25 I think. Now it's some fucked up combination of AS ranks and Level that will get you in.

Oh well isnt that fancy, concider me out of the loop as far as the MC goes ... when I dropped Voln I lost all interest in that area.
